Purchasing units


The company has its purchase set-up in four West-African countries;
Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Togo and Benin.

Well dried first crop cashew in shell is sourced from the farm-gate and delivered to the processing units.  After calibrating, shelling, drying, peeling and grading, the kernels are delivered to the packing unit.

Packing unit

The packing unit subjects the cashew kernels to a strict quality control. To eliminate all possible food safety hazards the batches are led through a vaporization process, which kills the common Salmonella and E.coli in nuts and makes the product apt for human consumption.

The nuts are then packed in pouches of each 11,34 kg that are vacuumed and flushed with NO2 nitrogen to extend the life span during bulk storage and stored per two in a cardboard.

Roastery

To satisfy the regional demand for food-safe and tasty cashew kernels packed in a qualitive high material the company operates a roastery with a capacity of 120 kg per day.
